The Beckhoff EL3058 is an 8-channel analog input EtherCAT Terminal designed to digitize 4–20 mA current signals for integration into high-performance automation systems. Each input operates with 12-bit resolution (16-bit signed representation) and features single-ended signal referencing with electrical isolation from the E-bus. Housed in a compact 12 mm-wide enclosure, the EL3058 provides high channel density and robust signal filtering, including support for FIR/IIR filters and limit value monitoring.

LED indicators provide clear visibility of signal status and diagnostic events, including wire break and overload detection, while the terminal’s process image supports up to 32 bytes of input data.
