Danfoss MCA 114 Modules

The Danfoss MCA 114 is a PROFIBUS converter module designed to facilitate the integration of VLT® AutomationDrive FC 302 units into existing systems that originally utilized the VLT® 5000 series. This module emulates the VLT® 5000’s command set, allowing for a seamless transition without the need to rewrite PLC programs. It supports PROFIBUS DP-V1 communication and is compatible with both Master Class 1 and Master Class 2 configurations. The MCA 114 can be pre-installed in the FC 302 or mounted externally, providing flexibility for various installation scenarios. Additionally, Danfoss offers adapter plates to facilitate the physical mounting of the FC 302 in place of the VLT® 5000, reducing installation time and potential cabinet modifications.
