Danfoss MCA 121 Modules

The Danfoss MCA 121 is an EtherNet/IP communication module designed to integrate Danfoss VLT® drives into EtherNet/IP-based automation systems. It supports high-speed communication with a Requested Packet Interval (RPI) of just 1 ms, making it one of the highest-performing EtherNet/IP devices available. The module features a built-in 2-port switch, enabling line topology and Device Level Ring (DLR) configurations, which simplifies cabling and reduces the need for external switches. Additionally, it offers a built-in web server for remote diagnostics, e-mail notifications for alarms, and compatibility with the VLT® Motion Control Tool (MCT 10) for parameterization over TCP/IP. The MCA 121 is certified by ODVA and is available in both uncoated (130B1119) and coated (130B1219) versions to suit various environmental conditions. It is compatible with VLT® drives such as the FC102, FC202, FC301, and FC302.
