The Siemens SIMATIC RS485 Repeater Module (6ES7 972-0AA02-0XA0) is designed to extend and enhance PROFIBUS and MPI networks by amplifying and isolating bus signals between segments. It supports up to 31 nodes per segment, with a maximum baud rate of 12 Mbit/s, and operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 60°C.
