The IFM RM8004 is a robust multiturn absolute encoder with a 12 mm hollow shaft and high-resolution 24-bit positioning for precise tracking of rotary motion in industrial automation systems. Equipped with a CANopen interface, the RM8004 offers full configurability for node ID, scaling, preset values, and direction of rotation. With a shock-resistant design, IP65 housing, and support for up to 4096 revolutions and 4096 steps per turn, this encoder is ideal for demanding applications in packaging, material handling, robotics, and motion control.
